Workers Guide: Measure the Upgrade

Measure a worker or upgrade in the same session, calculate its break-even time, and decide whether it beats saving for your next crate.

Quick answer

Use step by step before and after income measurement, break even interpretation, and stuck state checks without worker presets.

Workers are part of the official progression loop, but there is no published worker catalog with stable prices and output. That makes an account-specific payback test more useful than a copied ranking: the same purchase can be sensible for one balance and premature for another.

Step by step

Do this in your current server

Use the values shown in your own session. The game has not published a stable price, odds, or worker-stat table.

  1. 1

    Stabilize the current rate

Stay in one server, stop buying crates or upgrades, and observe the displayed income long enough to get a usable before-rate.

  2. 2

    Record the purchase price

Write down the exact worker or upgrade cost shown in your session. Do not use a screenshot from another version as the current price.

  3. 3

    Buy one change

Purchase only the worker or upgrade you want to test. Multiple simultaneous changes hide which one produced the gain.

  4. 4

    Measure the after-rate

Use the same server conditions and observation window. Record the new income rate without rounding it upward.

  5. 5

    Calculate payback

Open Break-even mode, enter cost plus before and after rates, then compare the payback time with how long you actually expect to play.

Tip: A positive gain can still be a bad purchase if payback is longer than your play horizon.

Decision points

Know when to continue, save, or re-measure

Payback fits

The purchase is easier to justify when it repays within your play horizon and does not block a more important target.

Payback is too slow

Keep saving or test another upgrade. A gain is not automatically efficient.

No positive gain

Do not manufacture a result. Check whether the purchase affects collection or another mechanic instead of income.

If you are stuck

Run these checks

The income rate fluctuates

Use a longer equal observation window and avoid opening crates while measuring. Compare like with like.

The after-rate is unchanged

Confirm the purchase applied, then consider whether its benefit appears somewhere other than income. The calculator should show no payback from a zero gain.

Common mistakes

Avoid bad comparisons

Calling a worker best by price

Cheap does not mean efficient; compare the gain produced per unit of cost.

Mixing old and new rates

Game updates or collection changes can invalidate an old baseline.

Counting offline income

Offline behavior has not been verified, so keep it out of the comparison unless your current game screen explicitly confirms it.

FAQ

Common questions

Which worker is best?

There is no verified public worker table. Compare each current price with the measured income gain on your account.

Does the calculator know worker prices?

No. Enter the price and rates shown in your current session.

What if income does not increase?

Break-even mode reports no positive gain and will not invent a payback time.

Does this include offline income?

No. Offline income is not assumed because it has not been confirmed in the checked official material.
